Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave coverage from November 16, 2026, to January 29, 2027. In this full-time role, you'll have the flexibility to work either virtually or onsite, providing direct services and support to approximately 50 students within both resource settings and the RISE program for moderate disabilities. This is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful difference while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Washington SLP License and ESA credential required
  • SLP-CCC certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Knowledge in supporting a diverse caseload, including students with moderate disabilities
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with teletherapy tools and platforms is advantageous if opting for a virtual assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in both resource and RISE program classes
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment goals in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Complete evaluations, write reports, update progress notes, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Provide strategies and consultation to teachers, families, and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
  • Adapt therapy delivery to student needs across in-person or virtual settings
