Per Diem Pharmacist in Washington, PA

Provide professional pharmacy services in a retail setting, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medications under direct managerial supervision. This per diem opportunity offers 1st shift coverage from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm starting August 7th, utilizing Pioneer software.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to all customers.
• Counsel patients on their medication regimens, offering clear guidance.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with established policies.
• Maintain stock levels and manage controlled substance records and inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage matters.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficient use of Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred.
