Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and interpret evaluation results
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy to students in individual or small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Consult on strategies and modifications to foster students’ communication and academic growth
