What You'll DoAs a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing replacement parts, technical information, pricing, delivery updates, and order support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage customer orders from quote through delivery and invoicing
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
- Research part numbers and product information using technical manuals
- Generate pricing quotes and confirm product availability
- Process order entries, returns, warranty claims, and credits
- Provide order status updates and delivery information
- Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics, Sales, Technical Support, and Service teams
- Gather technical information to identify correct replacement parts
- Support team members and provide backup coverage when needed
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while handling customer concerns

- First 6 months: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- After 6 months: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Up to 5 hours of overtime available most weeks
- After 9 months, employees may bid on earlier shifts (7 AM-4 PM or 8 AM-5 PM) or remain on the 9 AM-6 PM shift
- Work schedules are created 3-4 months in advance
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and punctuation
- Strong verbal communication and phone skills
- Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Stable work history with solid job tenure
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one)
- Call center experience
- Automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial customer service experience
- Technical, IT, or mechanical aptitude
- Parts experience (automotive or industrial)
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems
- Order entry, quoting, and inventory-related experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester Hills, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
