Overview of the Role and Qualifications

This position involves providing leadership that promotes the comfort and well-being of patients in both facility and home environments. You will apply the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families. Additionally, you will carry out medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications Required:
  • Essential Education: Completion of an accredited RN program
  • Preferred Education: Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical institution
  • Required License: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; compact license may apply, and verification with NCBON is necessary; BCLS certification required
  • Preferred License: National certification in a relevant specialty
  • Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year in nursing
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a facility or home care setting
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
