Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support commercial customers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a hands-on field service role focused on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring commercial HVAC systems operate efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate has a strong service background, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform component replacements, system repairs, and equipment changeouts
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
• Respond to service calls and provide effective solutions for customers
• Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards
• Complete service documentation and communicate findings and recommendations to customers
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC and refrigeration experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems
• Experience working on large commercial HVAC equipment (25+ ton systems preferred)
• Experience performing component replacements and repairs
• EPA Universal Certification
• Background in a service-focused HVAC role rather than solely preventative maintenance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
