As you rotate between Liberty High School, Heritage Middle School, and possibly another local school, you’ll actively impact the lives of diverse student populations. Your experience will expand as you collaborate with educators and support staff, hone your clinical skills, and develop leadership through exposure to varied approaches in school-based therapy. Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students in specialized and general education classrooms
  • Support students in Liberty High School’s ESC and BEST classes (approx. 11 students), with overflow support at Heritage Middle School and potentially one other building
  • Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Flexibly travel between school locations throughout the week (3 days at LHS, 2 days at other sites)
