Step into an impactful role supporting student growth and communication skills in a vibrant school community near Yorktown, VA. This full-time contract opportunity is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a difference during the 2026–2027 school year. With multiple positions available, you’ll work onsite with elementary, middle, or high school caseloads, providing vital speech services to a diverse student population.

We welcome both SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. For CFY candidates, comprehensive supervision and mentorship will be provided to ensure a successful fellowship experience.

Candidates should bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligibility for SLP-CCC or in pursuit of completing CFY requirements
  • Current state licensure or ability to obtain it
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but open to all dedicated professionals
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to manage a caseload averaging 55 students at the assigned school level

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering assessment, intervention, and therapy services for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of student progress
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to school culture
  • Supporting students’ speech and language development in both individual and group settings
