Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary-age students. This onsite assignment, spanning from late August 2026 to late May 2027, offers the chance to support a vibrant student community while collaborating closely with fellow professionals.
In this role, you'll manage a caseload of 21 case-management students and provide services to a total of 76 students, with the support of a dedicated SLP-A present 2-3 days a week. While a separate in-house SLP will supervise the SLP-A, you’ll handle case management duties and collaborate to ensure effective service delivery. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure for Missouri and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience, especially with elementary populations, preferred
- Strong case management skills, with ability to handle a diverse caseload
- Effective communication and documentation practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with SLP-A support and other educational professionals
- Commitment to best practices in individualized service plans and student progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, adapting interventions to meet IEP goals
- Manage and document progress for assigned caseload of 21 students, as well as additional provider services
- Collaborate with other SLPs, SLP-As, educators, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Oversee and coordinate with the onsite SLP-A for seamless service support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
