Occupational Therapist School Setting in Berwyn, IL

This full-time role offers a consistent 32.5-hour workweek, supporting elementary students and helping them reach developmental and academic milestones. The assignment extends from August 2026 through May 2027, providing a stable and meaningful professional experience.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
• Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
• Strong understanding of OT best practices within an educational setting
• Comfortable working with elementary-age children across a range of abilities
• Ability to develop effective treatment plans in partnership with teachers, parents, and staff
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services to elementary students in individual and group settings
• Develop, implement, and regularly update IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Assess, document, and report student progress toward therapeutic goals
• Collaborate with educators and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
• Adapt interventions to support student independence, participation, and learning
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district requirements for service delivery and documentation
• Participate in staff meetings, ARD/IEP meetings, and professional development as needed
