Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites! This full-time, Monday through Friday speech-language pathology role runs from late August 2026 through May 2027, providing vital services to students in a collaborative educational environment. Split your week between Liberty High School, Heritage Middle School, and possibly a third site, tailoring interventions to a diverse student population.
As a crucial contributor to student success, you’ll work three days per week at Liberty High School, partnering with educators to serve specialized ESC and BEST classrooms (approximately 11 students) while offering overflow support two days a week at Heritage Middle and potentially another school. Your expertise will directly impact students’ communication skills, empowering them for ongoing academic and social growth.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license (required for school settings)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience providing school-based SLP services strongly desired
- Ability to adapt practice across age groups and multiple sites
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with a range of communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers and staff in multiple classrooms and schools
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with educational regulations
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to maximize student outcomes
- Travel between assigned school buildings as scheduled
