Job Summary
We are seeking a Utility Data Analyst / Joint Pole Analyst for a contract opportunity in Pomona, CA, supporting utility infrastructure data, joint-use compliance, and pole attachment review activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented analyst who enjoys working with large datasets, field documentation, engineering records, and utility asset information.
In this position, you will help ensure pole records, communication attachments, ownership details, and compliance documentation are accurate and aligned with utility standards and regulatory requirements. You will work in a collaborative program environment with planning, field operations, utility partners, and communication providers, offering strong exposure to utility operations, infrastructure compliance, and program management processes.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career analyst looking to build experience in the energy and utilities industry while contributing to meaningful infrastructure and safety-related work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze utility pole records using SAP, GIS, engineering documents, databases, and internal tracking tools.
- Conduct desktop reviews and field audits to verify pole attachments, communication-space conditions, ownership details, removals, and replacements.
- Compare field findings against company records, identify discrepancies, and support resolution of data, attachment, and compliance issues.
- Prepare and process documentation related to pole authorizations, replacements, removals, ownership changes, and compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate reports, databases, reconciliation files, and project tracking tools for joint pole and utility infrastructure activities.
- Coordinate with planning teams, field operations, utility partners, municipalities, and communication providers to resolve issues and support compliance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $72,800 per year.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
