Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of OT practices in pediatric and K-8 populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable managing time between two school sites
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8th grade students
- Evaluate students and identify needs to support functional participation
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation
- Travel between two school sites as part of the weekly schedule
- Attend IEP meetings and offer expertise in designing accommodations
