This position offers a flexible, part-time opportunity for a Pediatric Dentist to perform in-office surgical procedures in collaboration with a Dental Anesthesiologist. It is particularly suited for those who prefer dedicated surgical days with anesthesia support in a cooperative and predictable setting.
ResponsibilitiesThe primary focus of this role involves conducting in-office surgical days in conjunction with a Dental Anesthesiologist, delivering comprehensive surgical services to pediatric patients.
- Administer restorative and surgical treatments for pediatric patients under sedation.
- Work closely with the Dental Anesthesiologist to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Provide care with efficiency, safety, and clinical assurance.
- Collaborate with office teams to guarantee compliant, patient-centered care.
- DentaPro software for streamlined operations.
- Digital x-ray and Panorex systems.
- Fiber-optic handpieces for enhanced precision.
- Collaboration with Dental Anesthesiologists on sedation cases.
- Dedicated support staff for specialists.
- Annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management.
- A mix of state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors.
- DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited dental institution.
- Completion of a CODA-accredited residency in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Active dental license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
- Current BLS/PALS certification, DEA registration, and other necessary credentials.
- Nitrous Oxide certification as mandated by state regulations.
- Guaranteed daily compensation or a percentage of collections.
