Opportunity Overview- Employment Type: Full Time - 1.0 FTE
- Schedule: To Be Determined
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Movement Disorders
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
- Completion of a fellowship in Movement Disorders is mandatory
- Proficient clinical skills in diagnosing and managing conditions such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders
- Experience with botulinum toxin injections and deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming is preferred
- Commitment to a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to care
Your typical day may involve:
- Conducting outpatient evaluations and treatments for patients with various movement disorders
- Collaborating with neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and other subspecialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Administering botulinum toxin injections and performing DBS programming as clinically indicated
- Participating in interdisciplinary care meetings and contributing to clinical program development
- Educating patients and their families about disease progression and available treatment options
- Engaging in teaching, quality improvement initiatives, or research activities as desired
- Comprehensive Care: Deliver primary care services to patients across all age groups.
