School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Liberty, Missouri

This long-term contract opportunity offers a chance to engage with learners from diverse backgrounds and collaborate with supportive educational teams, all while working across multiple campuses.

You will play a crucial role in guiding students toward meaningful communication goals and helping unlock their full academic potential. This position spans from late August to late May, working full-time weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm. Most of your week will be spent at a thriving high school, assisting students in specialized ESC and BEST classrooms, with the remainder supporting "overflow" needs at a middle school and possibly another district site.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP license (state requirements must be met prior to start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings highly preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as identified in IEPs
• Support and manage caseloads across multiple school sites
• Assess, document, and communicate student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Offer overflow support as needs arise, maintaining flexibility within assignments
