Job Description

This long-term contract opportunity offers a chance to engage with learners from diverse backgrounds and collaborate with supportive educational teams, all while working across multiple campuses.
You will play a crucial role in guiding students toward meaningful communication goals and helping unlock their full academic potential. This position spans from late August to late May, working full-time weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm. Most of your week will be spent at a thriving high school, assisting students in specialized ESC and BEST classrooms, with the remainder supporting "overflow" needs at a middle school and possibly another district site.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license (state requirements must be met prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings highly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as identified in IEPs
- Support and manage caseloads across multiple school sites
- Assess, document, and communicate student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Offer overflow support as needs arise, maintaining flexibility within assignments
