Open positions include three roles in 3rd and 4th grade, one spot in kindergarten/1st grade, and one opening for 2nd grade. Each day runs approximately 7.25 hours, from 8:20 am to 3:45 pm, offering you consistency and the chance to build meaningful relationships with your students.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid teaching certification for K-3 or K-5
- Demonstrated experience in teaching core elementary subjects, including Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with different grade levels and age groups
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with other educators and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging daily lessons across core content areas
- Develop a positive, inclusive classroom environment to support all learners
- Assess student performance and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate progress with families and participate in staff meetings
- Collaborate with grade-level team members for curriculum planning
- Uphold school policies and maintain accurate records of student performance
