Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a flexible, impactful role within a supportive K-12 educational environment. This contract position offers the chance to make a difference with a focus on middle and high school students, with the possibility of working with a handful of elementary learners. Set your schedule for two full days a week, totaling 16 hours, and be part of the academic journey from August through the end of the school year.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in middle or high school settings, is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services for students, primarily in middle and high school grades
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes
- Conduct assessments and reevaluations, documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Assist in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams as needed
