Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist working full-time with a dedicated K-12 community. This on-site contract opportunity offers you the chance to provide direct support to a manageable caseload while collaborating with educators and families.
You’ll work up to 37.5 hours a week, fully immersed in a rewarding school environment that values student communication success. With a caseload that won’t exceed 60 students—and could be just 55 or fewer—you’ll have the focus needed to offer individualized, impactful therapy and interventions.
Your expertise and compassion will support a diverse group of learners as you develop and implement therapy plans, attend meetings, monitor student progress, and ensure IEP compliance.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for South Carolina
- ASHA CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Previous experience in a school setting, with comfort serving K-12 students onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct therapy, track progress, and update goals as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster student growth
- Maintain documentation and compliance for student records and IEP requirements
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and team collaborations on campus
