Quick Facts Location: Boston, MA – 55 Fruit Street Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Shift: Day Shift, 3x13-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Hours/Week: 39 hours/week Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: MA State License, BC in Neurosurgery (required) Experience: Minimum 1 year neuro experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $151.32/hr Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time (per laws) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support from VHS What You’ll Do Collaborate with residents during rounds to develop patient care plans Review and place orders for neurosurgery inpatients See patients requiring assessment or follow-up Manage discharge planning and patient transitions Remove drains such as Hemovac or JP drains (preferred skill) Provide patient care exclusively (no OR involvement) Ensure quality inpatient neuro care for adult patients What You Need Board Certification in Neurosurgery (required) MA State Licensure (or willing to obtain) Minimum 1 year neuro inpatient experience Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment About the Assignment This position is based at a reputable hospital in Boston, focusing on inpatient neurosurgery for adult patients.
