Specialty: Emergency Medicine Will take ABEM, AOBEM, or ABFM with at least 2 years of ER experience Coverage Needs: Need October - Ongoing Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month Shifts: Monday: 7a 3p, 2p 10p, 9p 7a Tuesday Friday & Sunday: 7a 2:30p, 2p 9:30p, 9p 7a Saturday: 7a 2p, 2p 9p, 9p 7a Locums may work 12-hour shifts when operationally needed Setting: Freestanding ED No trauma designation Low volume Census: Annual Volume: ~23,500 Patients Per Day: ~64 EMS: ~15% Admission Rate: ~8.5% ED Beds: 15 beds + 2 fast track beds Support Staff: Daily APP coverage (12 hours) Backup Specialties Orthopedics Gastroenterology Tele-nephrology Tele-neurology Tele-psychiatry Procedures: All Standard ER procedures EMR: EPIC Board Certification: Board Certified Required Travel: Hospital will cover Credentialing timeline: Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start Requirements: Active TX state license Active DEA in TX or willing to transfer ATLS, PALS
