Job Description
Take your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to the next level by supporting elementary students during the 2026/2027 school year! In this rewarding contract opportunity, you will deliver direct speech and language interventions, conduct comprehensive evaluations, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain essential documentation in a school-based setting. While onsite service is preferred, exceptionally qualified virtual candidates may be considered under specific circumstances.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SPED licensure/certification (submissions must include verification)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is valuable
- Skilled communicator with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in documentation
- Able to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students within the district
- Assess students’ strengths and needs through standardized evaluations
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain compliant, accurate, and timely records in accordance with school and state regulations
