Key Details:

  • Full-time, contract position (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026–2027 academic year
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (for virtual therapy, paperwork, and collaboration)
  • Start date: August 3, 2026; End date: May 26, 2027
  • Assignment details and caseload will be determined based on district needs, serving a range of student age groups

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and active Virginia SLP license
  • Experience in school-based therapy strongly preferred
  • Ability to work successfully in both in-person and virtual settings
  • Completion of VA Department of Social Services check (to be initiated promptly) and current TB test

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, including individualized and group sessions
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Provide documentation, progress reports, and maintain compliance with state and district standards
  • Support students via both in-person and virtual delivery, ensuring quality and accessibility of services
