Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Rhode Island SLP licensure required
- Completion of SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or eligibility for either
- Expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy (K-12 population)
- Comfort with IEP development, documentation, and collaboration with school teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and interventions to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to create and implement individualized plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking per school and state guidelines
- Attend team meetings, contribute to student progress reports, and participate in professional development as required
