Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Rhode Island SLP licensure required
  • Completion of SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or eligibility for either
  • Expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy (K-12 population)
  • Comfort with IEP development, documentation, and collaboration with school teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy and interventions to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to create and implement individualized plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking per school and state guidelines
  • Attend team meetings, contribute to student progress reports, and participate in professional development as required
