Make an impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist providing dedicated support to K-12 students across several vibrant communities. This onsite opportunity allows you to choose your ideal schedule: either four days per week at 8.75 hours daily, or five days at 8 hours each. Whether you prefer working with elementary, middle, or high school students, your preferences will be considered to create a role tailored to your strengths.

You’ll work with students across Mason, Grays Harbor, Pacific, and Thurston Counties, including the close-knit neighborhoods near Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Shelton, Raymond, and McCleary. Enjoy meaningful daily interactions while collaborating with educators and families to help students communicate, engage, and thrive.

What you’ll bring:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting working with K-12 students preferred
  • Competence in conducting assessments, developing therapy plans, and supporting IEP teams
  • Flexibility to commute between school locations as needed
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
  • Document progress and streamline communication with IEP teams and families
  • Serve as a liaison with teachers and other school staff to advocate for student needs
  • Provide guidance and support for generalization of skills across school environments
