School-Based Physical Therapist - Collinsville, Illinois

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Previous experience working with K-12 students or in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for K-12 students, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and educational standards
• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ motor skills and physical capabilities
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for integrated care and progress updates
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in line with school policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide training and resources for staff regarding best practices in physical development and inclusion
