Job Description
Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a licensed Occupational Therapist. Work with a diverse student population and collaborate with dedicated educational professionals beginning August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a flexible, varying caseload (specific number of students to be determined)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Adaptable to work with students across all K-12 grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as part of their IEP plans
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions that support educational goals
- Maintain thorough and timely student documentation and progress reporting
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate students’ success in classroom and school environments
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and reviews
- Travel between schools within the district as needed to provide services
This contract role consists of 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with consistent weekly pay.
