Pharmacist - Tracy, CA

A hospital-based pharmacist role is available for a licensed California pharmacist with relevant hospital experience. This position is contract-based, starting ASAP, and is scheduled for a minimum of 13 weeks. The facility is currently using Cerner and Omnicell systems and plans to transition to EPIC soon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Consult with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical guidance.
• Manage pharmacokinetics-related tasks to optimize patient care.
• Adapt to evolving electronic health record systems, including upcoming EPIC conversion.

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license.
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred.
