Clinical Pharmacist - North Little Rock, AR

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support a leading 359-bed pediatric trauma and teaching hospital known for its progressive care and fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role offers day shift hours with a Monday through Friday schedule (7:00 am – 3:30 pm), allowing for a consistent work-life balance.

Responsibilities include compounding and dispensing medications, consulting with medical staff regarding drug therapies, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance, and verifying dosages tailored to pediatric patients. The pharmacist will monitor drug interactions, facilitate non-formulary drug evaluations, and maintain the highest quality standards in medication preparation. Additionally, involvement in patient care, education of healthcare personnel, participation in discharge planning, and drug utilization review are key components of this role.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Arkansas pharmacy license
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
• Intravenous (IV) medication experience or IV certification
• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge in pediatric pharmacotherapy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
