Speech Language Pathologist in Cornelia, GA

This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (up to 37.5 per week) with the flexibility to consider part-time schedules, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year—with the option to continue into 2025–2026. You’ll work onsite in classrooms serving K–5 students with ASD and severe/profound needs, collaborating with fellow educators and making a daily impact on your students’ lives.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for Georgia
• Current GA Educator Certificate
• Will consider candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFs)
• School-based experience preferred; expertise with ASD and severe/profound classroom caseloads valued
• Able to be onsite daily (remote/virtual not available for this assignment)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech therapy services to students in specialized classrooms (elementary level)
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff and families
• Continually monitor student progress and document outcomes effectively
• Manage Medicaid billing documentation as required
• Support a positive learning environment and adapt strategies for diverse learning needs
