Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also welcome to apply
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, ideally with high school populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and individual learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy to high school students according to IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support generalization of communication strategies throughout the school environment
- Adjust approaches to address individual student strengths, challenges, and goals
