Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to provide speech-language services to preschool through 3rd-grade students during a maternity leave. You'll work in a vibrant educational setting near Clementon, NJ, collaborating with committed educators and families to nurture student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience working in school-based environments preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood through elementary populations (PreK–3rd)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet a diverse range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in PreK to 3rd grade
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote carryover of skills across settings
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with school and state documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team planning, and staff trainings as needed
