\nAt Quality Beverage, a division of Martignetti Companies, our Route Delivery Drivers deliver products to businesses on a scheduled route or intermittently. A CDL is required for these positions. Our drivers establish and maintain high levels of customer service.\n
\n
\nFor the first three weeks of training, compensation will be paid at an hourly rate of $28.61. Upon successful completion of training, compensation will transition to a commission-based structure. New employees in their first year may earn an average of $75,000 to $85,000.\n

\nKey Accountabilities\n
\n
\nDrive commercial delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver product to retail accounts\n
\nBuild strong relationships with retailers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner and rotating product as necessary to ensure freshness\n
\nComplete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms and load sheets\n
\nEnsure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner\n
\nLook for innovation and continuous improvement in the Delivery Department and in the company overall\n
\nMaintain appearance of facility including monitoring and repacking damaged product and general maintenance of equipment\n
\nEnsure loads are built and loaded accurately in a timely manner. Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure proper stock rotation in the warehouse and on the trucks\n
\nRotate all product within the account and pick up all required empties upon delivery\n
\nRequirements:\n
\n
\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\n
\n
\nAbility to demonstrate effective use of safety rules including proper lifting\n
\nAbility to move products weighing up to 165 lbs.\n
\nAbility to operate a two-wheeled hand truck, pushing and pulling weights exceeding 150 lbs.\n
\nForklift and pallet jack experience is a plus, but not necessary\n
\nRespond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records\n
\nAble to work in all weather conditions\n
\nAble to work flexible hours, including weekends\n
\n
\nEducation/Training/Experience\n
\n
\nValid Commercial Driver's License and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required\n
\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n
\n3 Years of route driving experience\n
\nMust be at least 21 years of age\n
\nUnderstand highway traffic signs and signals\n
\nBasic computer experience or knowledge a plus\n
\n
\nPhysical Demands and Environment:\n
\n
\nAble to lift, load, unload and move product weighing up to 165 lbs. as well as hang merchandise materials sometime requiring the use of power tools\n
\nWork requires frequent standing or walking throughout the work day\n
\nWork requires travel and exposure to weather conditions while visiting customers, prospects or vendors\n
\nPotential for accidents due to over the road travel including traffic accidents, delivery of goods or the setup of displays\n
\n
