Litigation Paralegal
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join their team supporting Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Mass Torts, FELA, Railroad, Workers' Compensation, and Products Liability matters in a trial-focused practice.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage new case intake, prepare files for attorney review, and calendar statutes of limitations, trial dates, hearings, depositions, discovery, and court deadlines.
Summarize deposition transcripts; subpoena, track, organize, and produce medical records; maintain medical chronologies.
Coordinate independent medical examinations (IMEs), records reviews, and prepare medical packages for providers.
Draft motions, pleadings, demand letters, document productions, hearing exhibits, and other litigation documents for attorney review and court filings.
Review ongoing medical records, evaluate cases for settlement or trial readiness, collaborate with clients and attorneys, and travel occasionally as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Litigation Paralegal experience with proven legal and trial experience.
Experience supporting Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Mass Torts, FELA, Railroad, Workers' Compensation, Products Liability, or related civil litigation matters.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal/client management systems.
Strong organizational, analytical, investigative, time management, written, verbal, and grammar skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively with clients and legal teams, and maintain a positive, professional work environment.
