Pediatric Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Decatur, GA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric perioperative nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients during all phases of operative and invasive procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient and safe patient care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection prevention protocols
• Provide education and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families
• Document all aspects of care accurately in electronic medical records
