Unit: Med 1
Shift: Available per facility needs
Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: None

44-bed Medical-Surgical unit
Staffed with 14 team members per shift
Staffing Model

Day Shift

1 Charge Nurse
4 RN
4 LVN
4 PCT
1 Unit Clerk

Night Shift

1 Charge Nurse
4 RN
4 LVN
4 PCT
1 Unit Clerk
Unit Equipment & Systems
Telemetry monitoring
Vital sign equipment
Glucometers
Patient scales
Standard Medical-Surgical equipment
EMR: Meditech
Required Qualifications
Active LVN License
BLS Certification
Telemetry capable
Ability to provide safe and effective nursing care in an inpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications
Previous inpatient hospital nursing experience
Strong Medical-Surgical background
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
