JOB DESCRIPTION
\nNURSE PRACTITIONER
\n\n
Reports to: Medical Director for Clinical Supervision
\nChief Operations Officer for Administrative Supervision
\n\n
Salary: Negotiable
\n\n
Duties and Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Evaluation and diagnosis of consumers in outpatient setting \n
- Will conduct routine medication management and six-month reassessments \n
- Pharmacological treatment for patients including prescribing medications and providing follow -up in office or in the field if needed \n
- Provide continuity of care by facilitating hospital admits when needed \n
- Coordinate care with other service providers inside and/or outside of the agency. This includes availability for telephone consultations and team meetings as needed \n
- Consult with the supervising physician as needed \n
- Responsible for ensuring that 20% of work is reviewed by the Medical Director or designee every 30 days as required by state licensing board \n
- Other duties as assigned \n
\n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- RN degree; Advance Practice Nurse \n
- Full unrestricted TN license or multistate license that includes TN \n
- Nurse Practitioner certification; Psychiatry certification preferred \n
- Previous mental health experience \n
- Excellent communication skills \n
