Sales / Project Manager - Fire & Life Safety Systems
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, institutional, and public sectors.
Prepare project estimates, proposals, and bid packages for fire alarm and fire protection projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, property managers, and facility owners.
Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and industry networking events.
Manage projects from contract award through project closeout.
Coordinate project schedules, permits, submittals, inspections, and project documentation.
Collaborate with field technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
Manage project budgets, billing milestones, change orders, and profitability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Certifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in fire alarm, fire sprinkler, low-voltage, or related life safety systems.
Experience in sales, estimating, project management, or a combination of these functions.
Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and permitting processes.
Experience preparing estimates and managing project budgets.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred: NICET Certification.
Preferred: Experience with public works and prevailing wage projects.
