Key Requirements & Preferred Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility in Colorado
  • CCC certified SLPs, CFYs, and SLPAs are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, speech/language assessments, and delivery of therapy services
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload determined at assignment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student growth
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
  • Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with school policies
  • Foster a supportive, engaging environment that empowers every student
