Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to contribute in a dynamic rehab hospital setting located in Boston, MA. This position offers the chance to apply your pharmacy expertise in a collaborative healthcare environment, supporting patient recovery and medication management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispense medications accurately in accordance with hospital protocols
- Review and verify medication orders using Epic and Pyxis systems
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety
- Provide medication counseling and guidance when appropriate
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts (MA) required
- Experience or familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations preferred
- Comfortable working with Epic and Pyxis technology systems
- Retail pharmacists and new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Contract Details:
- 13 weeks or longer duration
- Immediate start available
