Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Washington
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate for WA required
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • At least two years of experience working in school settings
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 elementary-aged students
  • Strong organizational skills to split time efficiently between two school locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs in grades K-5
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help support communication goals for students across both school sites
  • Provide assessments, interventions, and consultations as needed

This contract role runs from September 4, 2026, through June 17, 2027, offering a stable and fulfilling academic year experience. Compensation starts at $50+ per hour, along with weekly pay, comprehensive medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a matching 401k, and flexible spending accounts.
