Engage with students and make a direct impact in a supportive school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment. This opportunity centers around providing expert speech and language support for two separate leave coverage periods, both starting at the beginning of the academic year. The first coverage extends through October 1st, with the possibility of extension, while the second runs through November 9th, also subject to extension.

Key Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong CFs encouraged to apply
  • Skilled in assessment, goal setting, and implementing varied therapy techniques
  • Effective communicator with students, teachers, and parents
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to school-aged students
  • Conduct assessments and provide individualized education plan (IEP) recommendations
  • Document progress, maintain compliance, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Support continuity of care during staff leave periods, ensuring students’ needs are met seamlessly
  • Contribute ideas and positivity to the school’s therapy team
