Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working within school environments is highly valued
- Ability to deliver assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for students ages PreK-12
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Adaptability to accommodate various caseloads or classroom settings according to your expertise
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention to students based on individualized education plans
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations as required
- Maintain thorough documentation and records in accordance with school policies
- Consult regularly with faculty and educational staff for integrated support services
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Adjust caseload and service delivery based on personal skills, preference, and school needs
