Job Description
Step into a fulfilling role serving middle school students as a contract Occupational Therapist, providing part-time coverage at a dynamic educational environment in the Redmond, WA area. Beginning in early September 2027 and extending through early January 2027, this opportunity offers an impactful short-term assignment working approximately 21 hours per week over three days. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and support staff to deliver high-quality, individualized OT services for a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Qualifications:
- Active ESA Certificate is required.
- Current Washington State OT license (WA DOH) in good standing.
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, specifically with middle school populations, is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to address students’ functional needs within the educational environment.
- Deliver evidence-based OT interventions and monitor progress for middle school students.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in line with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide support and consultation to teachers and families regarding strategies for classroom and at-home success.
