We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Physician to become a part of our Pediatric Hospital Medicine team based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In your role as a valued team member, you will act as a Pediatric Hospitalist, delivering comprehensive inpatient medical care to children in the hospital, including care for newborns and attendance at deliveries. You will work closely with the Emergency Department and a multidisciplinary care team, which includes nursing staff, case management, social work, and allied health professionals, to ensure exceptional, family-centered care throughout the pediatric hospital medicine spectrum.

Position Type: Part-time (0.60)
Schedule: A combination of 7- and 13.5-hour day and night shifts. The templated schedule allows for flexibility and advanced planning to maintain work-life balance.

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
DEA license
PALS/NRP certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
Delivering direct patient care
Attendance at deliveries
Performing circumcisions; training will be provided for those not certified.
Conducting Pediatric consults in the Emergency Department
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Supporting community health initiatives
