Assembler
Job Description
The Assembler role focuses on precision component assembly within a large team environment. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and careful operation of hand tools and microscopes. The assembler must demonstrate strong visual acuity and physical stamina to perform detailed tasks, including close inspection and manipulation of components, while reporting directly to a supervisor. No travel is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Assemble custom and precision components according to specifications
- Operate microscopes for detailed visual inspection
- Use hand tools to manipulate, handle, or feel parts accurately
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Follow company policies and safety procedures strictly
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in assembly work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Accurate color vision
- Commitment to safety compliance
Must possess the ability to pass an eye exam and color vision test, and demonstrate physical capability to sit, walk, stand for up to 10 hours, intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, or pull. Able to lift or carry items weighing less than 50 pounds, maintain visual acuity including close, distance, and depth perception, and adjust focus as needed.
