Bring your expertise as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) to a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting students across several educational settings. This role spans from August 25, 2026, to May 27, 2027, working onsite Monday through Friday, 9:00am–4:40pm, within a dynamic school environment near the Liberty, MO area.

Step into a position where you will split your time primarily between Liberty High School and Heritage Middle School, with a possible rotation at another district building. At the high school, you'll provide speech services to students within ESC and BEST classrooms (approx. 11 students), while delivering overflow support at the middle school and potentially an additional site. Anticipate spending 3 days a week at the high school, with 2 days at other assigned locations—providing flexible, varied experiences in your weekly routine.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students in special and general education settings
  • Complete assessments, develop and track IEPs, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with educational staff, families, and support teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Manage caseload across multiple school locations while adapting to changing needs
  • Maintain compliance with district and state regulations
