Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Morton, IL

Make an impact with early learners as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist working with pre-kindergarten through first grade students for the upcoming school year. You’ll play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders, working closely with students, families, and fellow educators. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, this assignment runs from August 5th to May 20th, allowing you to see growth and progress throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active Speech Language Pathologist License
• Previous school-based experience highly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with early childhood and primary-aged students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students in PK-1st grade
• Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student development
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive learning environment
