Step into a rewarding role supporting students across multiple locations in Washington and Greene counties. As a motivated speech-language professional, you'll deliver vital services on-site, working closely with both elementary-aged learners and educational staff throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid PA SLP Educator Certificate (required)
- Active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based SLP roles
- Ability to manage caseloads for elementary student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple schools as detailed below
- Ability to attend mandatory training dates
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students at several school sites: half-day at Bethlehem-Center Elementary, two days at Fort Cherry Elementary, and two days in Waynesburg
- Participate in staff training on August 13th, 14th, and 17th from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM at McMurray Campus
- Follow standard schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM during the academic year after students return August 20th
- Complete assessments, maintain progress documentation, and contribute to IEP processes as needed
- Communicate regularly with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support the mission of the schools by tailoring interventions to diverse student needs
