Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Peyton, CO

Make a meaningful impact in an elementary school environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting K-5th grade students with diverse needs. This full-time opportunity, located near Peyton, CO, offers the chance to enrich your practice and collaborate with a dedicated educational team from August 24, 2026, through November 6, 2026.

Bring your skills in articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic communication, and high-tech AAC to help students with mild to severe communication challenges thrive in their academic journey.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
• Previous experience within a K-5 school-based setting preferred
• Confidence working with mild to severe student needs, including high-tech AAC devices
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to students across all elementary grade levels
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student learning
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Document all services, goals, and data in compliance with district and professional standards
• Provide recommendations and training on AAC and other communication supports
